Without a doubt, the Glory Day is one of our favorites. Oliver Kopp was inspired to create it more than a decade ago by an old S. Bang pipe he saw in a vintage shop window display.
For the Glory Day, the originally used silver was replaced with a polished aluminum base, which is also laser-engraved with a Celtic cross. Over the years, thousands of these pipes have been sold.
In line with the Japanese Kaizen philosophy, which is dedicated to continuous improvement, we have now refined this olive wood pipe once again: it is now fitted with a higher-quality accent on the shank and features a newly designed aluminum top.
In the brushed version—which develops a beautiful patina over time—the edge of the cap has also been treated.
